Fizio Impuls is a private rehabilitation clinic in Pančevo, Serbia, about 20 km from the centre of Belgrade. We do two things: a structured 12-week phase 2 cardiac rehabilitation programme for people recovering from a heart attack, stent placement or bypass surgery, and general physical therapy for pain and musculoskeletal problems.
No referral needed. You can book an appointment directly. If you already have a discharge summary or a cardiologist’s report, bring it with you — the programme is planned around it.
Cardiac rehabilitation, phase 2
Recovery after a cardiac event is divided into three phases. Phase 1 happens in hospital. Phase 3 is the rest of your life. Phase 2 is the supervised programme in between — and it is the phase where the actual capacity of the heart is rebuilt.
Leading cardiology bodies — AACVPR, the American Heart Association and the European Society of Cardiology — recommend a minimum of 12 weeks for this phase. Our programme follows that standard: functional capacity assessment at the start, supervised training two to three times a week with monitoring of heart rate and blood pressure, a review after six weeks, and a final assessment.

Who runs the clinic
Marko Pejaković is a licensed physiotherapist with over 15 years in physical therapy and nearly 25 years in healthcare. He worked in Norway, where he validated his degree and practised in public and private clinics, and in Qatar, where he was part of the team at Heart Hospital and the Qatar Rehabilitation Institute implementing phase 2 cardiac rehabilitation into their health system.
